Spaulding Mfg., Inc. began in November of 1982 with a commitment to produce only the highest quality of ROAD MAINTENANCE EQUIPMENT (RMV) for every city and county in the United States. We started out with just one unit, the 1-Ton RMV "HOT PATCHER" whose forerunner was the Mitts and Merrill. We have continued to grow today because of our commitment to quality. A strong commitment from 3 generations adds to our longevity and continued dedication.

Through our strong growth and quality plan, we are continuously expanding our technology and capabilities. Today, we manufacture many different makes, and sizes of asphalt heating trailers. Recently, we added a 4-Ton Dump Trailer that will reclaim RAP, and dump it out of the hopper in just minutes. We also produce a vibratory roller, the Bulldog ‘500’. As well as a 5-ton slide in patcher and a 6-ton chassis mount auger model.

Our first units only used a Vapor LPG fuel in the burner. Over the last fifteen years we have added DIESEL, ELECTRIC, and COMPRESSED GAS.

Along with quality, we pride ourselves in service. Our service is fast as well as reliable. If parts are order before noon and in stock on any given day, they will be shipped that same day.
